Pet Food Labels

Pet food labels are printed or digital information displayed on pet food packaging that provides important details about the product, such as its ingredients, nutritional value, and feeding guidelines. These labels are typically required by law to include specific information, such as the product name, net weight, guaranteed analysis, and a list of ingredients.

Pet Labelling Materials

Semi-Gloss Paper Labels

Semi-gloss paper labels are a popular choice for pet food packaging because they offer an ideal balance between visual appeal and affordability. The semi-gloss finish provides a subtle shine that enhances the product’s branding and makes it visually attractive to consumers. The smooth surface of the paper also ensures that the label is easy to read, which is essential for conveying information such as nutritional information and ingredient lists.

A gloss varnish and gloss laminate are excellent options for pet food labels due to their ability to provide an extra layer of protection and enhance the label’s visual appeal. The gloss varnish provides a high level of glossiness, creating a luxurious and shiny finish that adds to the product’s premium look. Similarly, a gloss laminate provides a high level of glossiness, but it is thicker and more durable than a gloss varnish, making it a suitable option for products that require more protection.

Waterproof Plastic Labels

Waterproof polypropylene labels are an excellent choice for pet food labels because they are durable, long-lasting, and resistant to moisture and humidity. These labels are made of a strong, durable material that can withstand the handling and transport that occurs during distribution, as well as exposure to water and other liquids. This is particularly important for pet food products that may be refrigerated or stored in varying temperatures and conditions.

For extra water resistance, we recommend a gloss laminate over the top to ensure that the print is as protected as the label.

Biodegradable Labels

Our biodegradable labels make a great eco-friendly alternative. Made out of sugar cane waste and hemp linen fibre, these labels are fully biodegradable, compostable, as well as vegan-friendly, If you are promoting food made out of healthier or eco-friendly ingredients, these would be an excellent fit.

Fluorescent Coloured Labels

Fluorescent paper labels are an excellent choice for pet labels because they provide a high level of visibility and can help products stand out on shelves. These labels have a bright, eye-catching colour that can easily draw attention to the product and make it stand out from other products.

If you would like regular colours printed on your labels, then we would have these digitally printed on top of the label for you.
