Adhesive Side Label Printing

Create eye-catching labels with our adhesive side label printing process. Roll Labels provides a special printing process that allows the adhesive side to be printed on in a single colour.

Being able to print on both sides of the label makes adhesive side printing the ideal way to create a unique label, creating interest and intrigue. Our customers choose this clever technique to create the perfect label for their needs, which improves the uniqueness of their products.

Useful Information

Adhesive Side Printing Can be Used for Several Reasons:

Increased Efficiency: Adhesive side printing eliminates the need for a liner, which is typically discarded after the label is applied. This can reduce waste and increase production efficiency, as there is no need to continuously reload the printer with new label stock.

Improved Environmental Impact: Since there is no liner, adhesive side printing can help reduce the amount of waste generated by label production. This can be a significant benefit for companies that are focused on sustainability and reducing their environmental impact.

Increased Labeling Options: Adhesive side printing allows for a wider range of labeling options, including different label shapes and sizes. This can be useful for products that require non-standard labeling options, or for companies that want to create a unique, eye-catching label design.

Improved Label Performance: Adhesive side printing can provide improved label performance, as the adhesive is applied directly to the label material rather than the liner. This can result in a stronger, more durable label that is less likely to peel or fall off over time.

What uses do these labels have?

The adhesive side printing process is the perfect option for many different products. This labeling style works best on products that are clear, like cosmetic products and craft spirits.

Window Stickers

This label type is also perfect for window stickers. As a design can be printed on both sides of the label, it can be used on a window surface. Common uses for window stickers include promotional information in shop windows, and warning signs and they are perfect for business logos.

What’s Required?

Adhesive Side Printing Process

Label Design: The label design is created or modified to include the desired graphics, text, and other information that will be printed on the label.

Material Selection: The self-adhesive label material is selected based on the specific needs of the label, such as the desired adhesion strength and durability.

Printing: The label material is loaded onto a printer, and the label design is printed directly onto the adhesive side of the material. This can be done using a variety of printing methods, such as digital printing, flexographic printing, or thermal transfer printing.

Cutting: Once the label material has been printed, it is cut to the desired shape and size. This can be done using a die-cutting process, in which a die is used to cut the label material into the desired shape.

Application: The labels are then ready to be applied to the product or packaging. Since there is no liner, the labels are typically wound on a roll or fan-folded for ease of use.
