Skin Care Labels

Skincare labels are product labels that are affixed to packaging for skincare products, such as lotions, creams, serums, cleansers, and masks. These labels typically include information about the product, its ingredients, usage instructions, and safety warnings.

Skincare labels can also include branding elements like logos, colours, and designs that help to differentiate the product from competitors and communicate the brand’s identity. Some skin care labels may also feature claims about the product’s effectiveness or benefits, such as “hydrates skin” or “reduces the appearance of wrinkles.”

Labelling Materials for Skin Care Products

Waterproof Plastic Labels

Waterproof polypropylene labels are a great option for skin care products because they are resistant to moisture and oils, which are common in the beauty industry. Skin care products are often exposed to moisture, oils, and other liquids, which can cause traditional paper labels to smudge or peel off, resulting in an unprofessional appearance. Waterproof polypropylene labels are tear-resistant and their waterproof properties ensure that the label remains legible and intact even when exposed to liquids. They are also customisable with high-quality graphics and text, allowing for effective branding and product information.

For extra water resistance, we recommend a gloss laminate over the top to ensure that the print is as protected as the label.

Transparent Labels

Transparent labels are an excellent option for skin care products because they provide a clear view of the product inside the container while also conveying important labeling information. The transparency of the label allows the product’s colour and texture to show through, providing customers with a better understanding of the product they are purchasing. Additionally, transparent labels are durable and resistant to water, oils, and other liquids, ensuring that they remain legible and intact over time.

For extra water resistance, we recommend a gloss laminate over the top to ensure that the print is as protected as the label.

Metallic Plastic Labels

Metallic plastic labels are a great option for skin care products because they provide a premium and sophisticated look that can add value and attract customers. The metallic finish can create an eye-catching and luxurious appearance that conveys a sense of quality and high-end branding. Additionally, plastic labels are resistant to water, oils, and other liquids, ensuring that the label remains legible and intact over time.

Alternatively, if waterproof durability isn’t an essential part of your product. We also supply metallic paper labels which may be a suitable preference for your needs.

Biodegradable Labels

Biodegradable labels are made from sustainable materials that break down naturally over time, reducing the impact on the environment. This can be important for skin care brands that prioritize environmental sustainability and want to appeal to eco-conscious consumers.

Semi-Gloss Paper Labels

Semi-gloss paper labels are a great option for increasing the visibility of skin care products due to their smooth and shiny surface that can enhance the appearance of the label. The semi-gloss finish creates a visually appealing surface that can showcase high-quality graphics and text, making skin care products stand out on store shelves or online marketplaces.

A gloss varnish and gloss laminate are excellent options for skin care labels due to their ability to provide an extra layer of protection and enhance the label’s visual appeal. The gloss varnish provides a high level of glossiness, creating a luxurious and shiny finish that adds to the product’s premium look. Similarly, a gloss laminate provides a high level of glossiness, but it is thicker and more durable than a gloss varnish, making it a suitable option for products that require more protection.
